Testimonials

Mayans believes in giving back to our community. We are dedicated to maintaining the long-term sustainability of our developments, the prosperity of the neighborhoods in which we build, and helping to educate the greater community through our outreach efforts. This social responsibility includes more than simply building quality homes; it is about making our world a better place to live.

Embracing responsibility Mayans is involved with the following community outreach programs:

First-Time Home Buyer’s and Education Program
Mayans offers on as needed basis soft seconds to assist buyers in order to qualify for purchasing homes, and homeownership programs. This program will address homeowner’s responsibilities including, mortgage payments, insurance, taxes, operations, rights and maintenance.

Community Beautification Program
Mayans works to revitalize the overall neighborhood as part of its new residential development projects by incorporating the community beautification program by rehabilitating existing homes, parks, libraries, and community centers in the surrounding area to make a positive impact on the entire community.

YouthBuild Program
The goal of the program is for youths to participate in the development of their communities through training in the construction industry that builds skills, confidence, discipline, and leadership needed to become successful, productive members of society.

Neighborhood Watch Program
The neighborhood watch program is an effort between the neighbors, police department, code enforcement and the City. This program will help to prevent crime, graffiti, theft, vandalism, or any other illegal activity. It will help ensure the safety of the neighborhood residents and the upkeep of the neighborhood.

Community Policing Program
Mayans works in conjunction with the police department to develop and implement a community-policing program, if there are significant problems that will require the assistance of local law enforcement to reduce or eliminate any crime, vandalism or any other illegal activity that will have a negative impact on the neighborhood.

Homebuyer Maintenance Education Program
When you purchase a home you will receive an owner’s manual that tells you all about proper care and maintenance of your new home. Mayans will also conduct an orientation walk through of your home with you and family members highlighting some of the most important items, but the manual will cover in more detail how things work, what your warranty covers and how you should be doing regular maintenance on your house.
